Paper Friends

Sometimes there are some people who
You see at school or work,
They often are real nice to you
But friendship they will shirk.

You aren't the kind of friend they seek
When you are home each day,
But they act friendly as the week
Goes on about its way.

They do not have the qualities
A good friend should possess.
Like knowing when they should appease
Or helping clean a mess.

They don't want you to visit or
Come to your home and see
A friend to do some fun things for
Awhile as friends should be.

Be choosey who you call a friend,
They may not feel the same.
An argument will often end
If you get all the blame!
