6 Kilometer

The feeling of sweaty, sticky skin hitting the rubber
A tricky piece that tasted like pain, victory and sweat
Finally at peace, the broken rowing machine and the floor, a couple of my mentors saying "Congrats"
My stats improved with a smell of sweaty teenagers, the drum major in my ears kept me going
I had to adapt to the sounds of the ones who snapped their PR cries of join and fear like a depressing cheer,
We are rowers, always some growers, never slower.
