Whispering Rainbows

My soul
Finds itself
Stunned,
Entwined amidst
The shattered
Fragments
Of emotion
And longing,
Burdened by
The tumultuous
Weight
Of a wounded
Existence

And I feel
So blessed
To be alive.

It's better to hurt
Than to feel
Nothing at all.

About this poem

This poem expresses the speaker's current emotional state. They describe their soul as being stunned and entwined in the shattered fragments of their emotions and longing. They feel burdened by the heavy weight of a wounded existence. Despite this, the speaker feels blessed and grateful to be alive.
