DVAM

He chooses it with me
Because he can get away with it
He protects those who look like him
Or are accepted in his society
Because they hate people like me
Racist
Misogynist
People who look like me
Have no human rights protections
He thinks it's funny
He exploits my vulnerabilities
Then laughs about it
Leaving my life in ruins on purpose
Because no one protects my rights
So I call on The Most High
Because that is the ONLY protection I have
In this country
No one cares
It's okay to prey
You are rewarded for it
Particularly if you are privileged
You get rewarded for it
In this nation
The Most toxic are incentivized
To do anything they want
Against those with no protections
They profit from it
Over and over and over again
They run operations
Allowing for torture campaigns
Where no one is held accountable
Leadership is responsible
But they are corrupt
No one cares
He exploits all that
To hurt me as much as he can
All because he can
It makes him feel like a patriot
It makes him feel like a man
In reality
He's just a batterer
Who wants to appear real
But is only fake
Domestic violence isn't
A choice of the target
It's the choice of the predator
