Sympathy poem

Cynthia novotny 1984 (Wilmington de)

I am so sorry for the one you lost
I hate to see you feeling so down
I wish I could take away all the pain
That you’re feeling deep down inside

I know telling you that it’s going to  be ok
Isn’t the  most easiest thing to say to you
Your heart feels one way about the pain
I feel all you need is time to adjust to this

I’m just hear to tell you I will be here for you
No matter day or night you call me you hear?
I’ll answer the phone in a heart beat for you
Just know I love you I’ll be waiting here patiently

the best advice I can give to you at this time
I pray that you get the closure that you need
That I am right around the corner waiting
Even if I’m just a shoulder to cry for you
