When you call me Mum

When you call me Mum
I realise the wonderful things I've done
And when all is lost and gone
And lonely falls the sun
Before your weaping memories
Of all the times that we had fun
I hope you know I love you
More now than ever before
And that you take good care
Of everyone you know so sure
Be mindful of your path
And follow me into the pure light
When time commits your soul home
And finds you a brand new goal beyond this night
Be in no rush to get here
For signs will bloom within your life
And free you from the sorrow
That took my simple life
I know that you'll be happy
And the shine of your love echoe to me
For I will bring your soul
My whispful message of glee
There will be so much to tell you
Of how good you were to us
And how I'd like to hug you
To remind you you're one of us
You'll never be a bad boy
But only one of truth
And I hope with all your mind
You keep looking for Gods proof
For he loves you stronger than a legion
of angels and fairytales
So teach each generation
How to join him in life's sweet prayer
Each tear you fill with me
Will be wiped up in each blessing
Of word and thought from heaven
And all there have softy given
