"Light of My Life"
Chittovious Coleman 1974 (Peoria's)
You are the "The Light of. My Life", until I was introduced to you my direction was dim. My disposition and situation that I was facing was grim.
New to the area, no friends or family sitting alone with my son amongst several other kids then you walked. Bringing a circle of light, your energy glowed like a Lighthouse to a ship lost at sea trapped in the storms whirlwind. Your presence unbeknownst to me would revitalize and uplift. Yes, you rescued me, unknowingly. Only God could have known your appearance in a matter of a short time would redirect and open my conscience. Your countenance ebullient exuding confidence and full of resilience. God knows your spark of life of light would be the recipe to repair a shattered heart like the tears of Jesus that raised Lazarus you resurrected a lost love in areas within.
You are the "Light of My Life" as the world turns slowly, our friendship emerged and bloomed like a rose bud using time, patience, and a few disagreements, took rotation like a needle on a record; long talks shared time urging me to want to need you as my only. More than a trusted homie!
You are the "Light of My Life" your skin reflects like rays of sun, under the moon you're shining unlike a diamond; your eyes deep as ocean blue, the love I'd risk my life to drown in. Priceless; if I had one wish upon, heavenly ebony star it would be you my Mary bearing for God my only son.
You are the "Light of Life" unlike the mothers of my children or the hundreds of millions widdled down; to hundreds of thousands, to hundreds; even the top ten you are 9, 8, 7,6, 5, 4, 3, and my ten plus 1!
A precious princess pillow blessings your love is out this world second to none. Oh what sensation to gaze upon you while we nestled together loving feeling the warmth of your skin. None other could ever has ever captured me, like the rapture pardon me God not to blaspheme swept me up and claimed as your one person. Your so precious, I comprehend why it brings joy to be with and hurt from not having your presence; this real life no need or reasons to pretend. A present like you more exclusive I ride for you at all expensive, greater than any extravegant gift mankind could list. Dressed and wrapped in decadent flesh, a perfect storm brews with in you beautiful; someone who I would have been able to tell my darkest trusted secrets. I thank God for the times I have been able to rest with and hold you. Only God can reveal to you that these words are Sooo true. Yeah it's true miracles do exist, my spiritual connection the one I feel God wants me to vow most of my time, most thoughts, and ALL of My Love too. God choose you when I didn't know how to show up. We here now I no have to choice but; to show out and turn up accepting and blessing pouring his reflection my Truth my Wis, my Ruth, as I honor like Boaz made to honor a trophy unlike any wife uphold and represent like Christ Jesus said a man is the day I said to you; "How do you know you're not going to be my wife"? Through sickness and health, poverty and wealth my heart belongs to you. Like Romans 8:38-39 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, [39] Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Other than our children your name like God is inscribed on the tablet of my heart, mind, and tongue. Until God says it is finished you are the one "Light of My Life".
