The sky rolls through the night time as the stars twinkle for their last time before sunrise. Their truth will go away in the light. The Desert sand is still cold and the warmth of the sun is impatiently being waited for. A lone beetle rolls down the hill searching. The being alone is starting to sink in. What happened and how I ended up here among this wall to wall of Desert sand is unclear. Though I can't see any others I can still feel their presence or is that just my desire and fear all at once thinking I can't be alone. The emptiness grows and is deafening. My heart and soul doesn't know how to handle the aloneness.  Is this the calm before the storm.
