Halloween Night

Halloween Night
By William Upton

On this cold dark night where all the kids come out
Grab their buckets and give a shout
Trick or treat and thank you all around
As children's feet trample the ground

The ghosts and ghouls come out to play
Zombies and werewolves call out in a fright
Happy Halloween on this Halloween Night
On this night it is a candy buffet
Full of chocolate for kids the next day

Halloween Night full of scary surprises
Costumes all different sizes
Some big some small
Some short some tall

As parents walk around all the night
They watch their children get candy to bite
They watch as the kids play
While they stroll through the midnight

Now kids are done and off to their beds
They go to sleep and lay their heads
Now they enjoy rest this Halloween Night
