Silly Billy, Silly Me

My little Billy was so silly
On one October day.
He climbed a tree so he could see
An object far away.

I asked him why the big blue sky
Was interesting to
His little eyes; to my surprise
He said that he could view

A tall giraffe and so I laughed.
But he would only smile.
And so I tried to see if I'd
Missed it and in awhile

As I rechecked the sky a neck
Appeared in a tall cloud,
When I began a youthful scan;
Pretending dreams endowed.
