I Think

I think one day
When your smile fades away
You'll remember me
And you'll wish you had asked me to stay

I think one day
When you're old and afraid
You'll regret telling me to go
And imagine I had stayed

I think one day
When the end draws near
You'll think of me fondly
And you'll whisper, "I wish you were here"

I think one day
When the stars shine bright
We'll meet again
At midnight, under moonlight

I think one day
When we meet again
The love will reappear
And sadly, so will the pain

I think one day
When we look deep into each others eyes
We'll speak of our love
And cover our regrets with lies

I think one day
When we say our last goodbye
We'll laugh and say
"Time does fly"

I think one day
When you finally let me go
You'll mutter under your breath
"I really love you, I hope you know"
