War War

The Nation  is in a turmoil
Our families are  being  divided
Our future has been undecided
It making us poor
But we know the score
It's not easy to forget
We have to get back on our feet
To make ends meet
So many questions ask
How long do you think war will last
No one knows for sure
It's like a sickness without a cure
It brings us a reminder of the past
Boys have to grow up to be men fast
Fighting for our country is what they do best
If only the numbers of death were less
We have to pray to God to bring them through
Thats what being patriotic is all about
Being true to your red white and blue
