Time

Time

Time is the indefinite progress of existence
You and I spend it together with consistance
Time is future present and past
But with you, why does it have to move by so fast?
It’s like all the clocks are altered, sped up
Time ticks by 10 times faster each time I lift my head up
Hours, minutes and seconds might as well be referenced as weapons,
because I know as each of them glide by
I’ll have to wait again to see that smile,
Why can’t we be like the stars in space
Where an hour is equivalent to 7 years
Why can’t we sit next to each-other forever at a time, it’ll often send me to tears
Time is precious and time is scarce
Time is regarded to as a whole, and
The Time spent with you connects me with your soul
Every bit of time with you is special, even if we sit in silence
I just wish the time we had together was timeless
