They tried everything
Well once they tried to bury me, but by them being so eager to do so, never did they realize that I was a seed
I came in behind the loser, and they found it hard to believe, how I manage to double lap him and that I was in the lead.
But then they tried to over power me, but knew nothing bout my strength.
Until they tried to break my spirit, and found out that I am heaven sent.
And then next they tried to destroy me, they never thought that I woulda survived.
They even tried making me out to be a monster when they discovered my self pride.
They tried changing my personality, and I admit they almost had me.
But then I've learned that I am better than them, so I told them within my poetry.
So then they tried to silence me, but my tongue became a sword.
Spitting words so sharp towards they neck as if they were laying on a cutting board.
They even tried to humiliate me, when they thought that I was embarrassed.
Well that was until they saw the smile on my face just as bright as 24 karats.
They tried attacking my emotions, wanted me to release some of my anger.
Cause they had me facing adversity, by placing me in a little bit of danger.
They even tried to steal my joy, and that I wouldn't allow.
Cause that is something I had with me every since I was a child.
And I know your probably wondering, who called possibly wanna do all of this to me.
But I say, if they would do it to me, then they would do it to you, and they name is:
Negativity
About this poem
It's an inspiration. No matter what happens in this world don't give up. Theirs always a way to overcome the obstacles you face day after day. And if you stay positive then negativity would bring out the best in you
