The Grime Reaper

John Thrasher 1969 (Poughkeepsie, NY)

First and foremost God bless us all...Amen..

The Grime Reaper

Love  is not arguing ...fighting....lying...cheating..betrayal...no loyalty....no trust....love is the Grime reaper...

Love is always called out when the cheater is caught but where was the love before all this...love is the Grime Reaper

Love makes people do stupid things but it doesn't pass out common sense .... but it does give out reality checks not everyone is out for your best interest...love is the Grime reaper...

Love turns into jealousy ... envy ... deception...and hate when ppl see you trying to do good or try to make things better in your life even those whom are close to you, family...friends ....wives....and husbands...love is the Grime Reaper....

Love  is not disrespecting your partner in the streets ......love isn't finding out your partner has multiple cheating partners or finding out they let the ones they talking to call their partner names while sending laughing emoji as if ....so love pertains to people bad mouthing their so called loved ones.. love is the Grime reaper...

Love is not lying with a straight face.... love is not blaming the innocent one in the relationship and telling them they only did it because their partner was at fault for pushing them into another's arms
..love is the Grime reaper .....

The Grime Reaper is the master of death and love is just the opening when you give your best , the effort to make something out of nothing ... when you believe that there is no fault in this person to only find out that they are snakes your guard is down now the pain shoots through your heart like an arrow ...we trust someone to come in our life but turns out they have more Interests than you want to deal with but they don't want to release the truth...that the Grime reaper is the master of love because after you're hurt your heart be dead to all and no one will ever be the one to trust ...we take chances but that's life some are good but those that are bad are the worse...Love is the Grime reaper...... the end

About this poem

In life people get hurt a lot by people they love, and sometimes they can't express their feelings. This poem is for them, maybe they will be able to use my words to get their feelings across.

John Thrasher

I'm a loving husband and father whom has had a passion for writing since I was real young. I wrote a 300 page book of short stories and poems when I was incarcerated for the first time. I've had a poem published in The book of poetry in California. Writing has been my way to release built up feelings. I come up with stories in my mind all the time. I don't aim to be a big author just want to show my work and if it turns into something bigger then so be it. more…
