Narrative
"The Essence of Home"

Thrown to the dogs,wolves,monsters,trouble-makers.

Walking with my head in the clouds, as high as gravity allowed,and then some.

There he was,
a wild beast with couth such manners(calm... they all were)

He gave chase was on for my eye contact, the chase was on.

"save me,"hold me,"spank me,"bottle,
                     teach me**
            what it is to have,

                     "The Essence of a home".



Dedicated to the Love of my life *
thanks for always being there for me te amo.

About this poem

This poem captures the RAW moments that a "Lady had no choice but to survive In the wilderness. (homelessnes). In doing so she found herself deeply madly into the eyes of "the beast" whom kept her safe and warm.
