The Blue Moon

The railing against the world
Made everyone believe that violence washed away
That the people were just under the influence
Of the beautiful blue moon
The little ones didn’t understand
They believed it was precious, outstanding
They believed in the definition of its power
But they didn’t know the source of it
The adults put the rage from an elements power
Onto the children
So the children grew up with fear but also pain
They grew up hating the parents and blue moon
Never realizing that it wasn’t the blue moons fault
But it was the dark moon
The moon that darkened the souls and the light
Of all things
So Healing was hard for them
They grew up hating the blue moon
And never appreciating its existence
They thought that luck was the healer
So they put faith in the universe but not the creator
They put faith in a man’s weapon
They put courage in a coward
They put love in a fractured heart
But they denied acceptation from the blue moon
Why do we cry?
Why do we mourn?
Why do we lose our loved ones?
Where is our freedom?
So many questions we ask
So many answers provided between the lines
That no one will read because of the blue moon
We give hate, we receive hate
We give love, we receive love
We show kindness, we are rewarded
We change our minds to match our souls
We become a new person
Behind every element is a bigger generator
Behind everyone, is a source for their outcome
Behind every wish, is a soul pleading for greatness
To you I say
Blue moons gave life to us
The dark stripped life from us
Will you always believe in cheating life?
Or will you believe in the one who gave us life?
