The Blue Marble

The Blue Marble

While the world is giving,
It is slowly perishing.
Humans don't but command,
Exacerbate the damage and demand.
Through your eyes, see  the animals
Declining by decimals,
Human cruelty and species are extinct
Like money to be distinct,
Thinking it is uninhabited,
They die without habitat.
Painfully,
And slowly.
Arctic, arid, coastal, freshwater, urban, and oh! Woodland.
What have we done with this land?
Time to act for mother nature,
Are we powerless caricature?
Pay attention,
People of every nation!
Read this message,
And keep to this adage.
Every organism should live as it appears,
Before the blue marble disappears.

About this poem

This poem was written because of my concern about the environment and the lives living on this planet. People should have more concern on preserving the nature.
