Free verse
Light dripping droplets tumble
Meets wet dew drops of yesterday
Wavy leaf branches sway in tandem
With the breezy morning air
Damp streets spotted with water pods
Splashes amidst the hustle and bustle
Of staffers en route to their post

The sky, a picture of ambiance
Flaunting an aura of serenity
The morning sun awaits
For this exquisite spectacle to unfold
The chilly wind only eternalizes
This surreal atmosphere of tranquility
Natures beauty unmatched

About this poem

It was a Monday morning and the sky has been pouring all weekend. This poem illustrated my feelings as I stared at the sky that morning. I Hope it makes the reader feel the same way. Thank you.
