Strangers

The_Luo_Poet 1997 (Africa)

"To love and be loved is to feel the sun from both sides",they say..

Strangers they were at first,
No mutual feels at all,
For birds of the same feathers they weren't,
The four chambers of his heart ached,
Not from pumping blood,
But to bare the fact that they weren't as one,

"A man in love dies while trying",they say,
Or perhaps gives up if there's no chance,
The optimistic one sticks around brushing off the pains
Hopefully to be rewarded for his patience,
At her door, she knocks
Positively to let him in,

Let him sink into your arms..
Look deep into his eyes..
Tickle him gently by his ribs..
Lay Your tender lips on his..
Let him arouse your inner soul..
