SILENCE ( her arrival)

Esiobu Chisikamdi Vivian 2002 (Anambra state)

                           SILENCE.

  As calm as a cat
She can never be found
in the mids of magpies
meek as a lamb
would avoid Park of wolves
by distancing herself
like the stars in the sky
her beauty just like the rainbow
her teeth clear as crystal
she can never be likend to a fox
but to a lion.
always turns a bat
to people's fault
and a door post
to people's rude words
like ABC she turned a dog
towards her master
on a faithful day
it dawned on her
that the game is up
she fought bravely
Like a tigres
to unveil to her master
reasons to continue in the game
but the master has his reasons
after much attempt
she gave in just like a puppet
as she kicks the bucket.
on the day of her send forth
so many people
who were still in the game
had to moan, loudly
but as she  arrived
She refused the room
announcing her arrival
silence engraves the room
and peaceful she got in
smiling and wavingto the players,
she moves to the next level
leaving behind,
legacy of her life
which turned a mirror
For the rest of the players
to see through.
