Rock Bottom

There is a place I have discovered                          It definitely has served me well,                             A place countless people have been                      Only few have lived to tell.                                        My profound experience of this place                     Taught me lessons few have learned,                      Even how to use provisions frugally                                   Though some were not earned.                             This place carries no secrets                                   However it will reveal truths through sight,          Your mind pushed to its limits                                 Also taking you out at night.                                   Time goes by slowly here                                        For some it doesn’t exist,                                           Sleeping through my dreaded summer                 By autumn I could not resist.                                   I’m impressively freed                                               Although this place isn’t recommended,                 This place is called rock bottom                              It is where my old life ended.
