My Homeland

Khizra Shahzad 2002 (Bahawalpur)

Oh my beloved land,
I feel sorry for what makes you offend.
All this rage and the chaos,
Nothing, but just a temporary pause.

Let the haters create uproar,
I see the people helpless, we endure.
Oh, my dear homeland,
I pray for your betterment and strength.

No more pain and no more harm,
When people will remain easy and calm.
May the sun shines brighter again,
And the rays of hope fall like drops of rain.
