If I could be anyone, I'd be happy with you.
I'd cherry pick aspects of myself to make you Happy to be with me too -
My head perfectly in line with your chest
Heartbeats in sync
Compatible beliefs, expectations, ideals
A well-matched chemistry,
Just the right amount of passion.
What if we loved each other enough
To make this all happen
Rip ourselves open,
Rearrange our organs -
You take some of mine, I take some of yours
Perfectly imperfect
Versions of each other -
Would we be happy then?

Inspired by my relationship with my first and only ex - the one love of my life.
