Brian and Graham

Brian and Graham took a trip to an island,
Where women and men were working in a field,
They respected each other, join hand to hand,
At breaktime, sang their folk songs, one to lead.

"Here, let us join hands, this is our world,
Our Universe continues to give birth,
To many more like us to unfold,
We have built this nature from earth,

We have no sorrow or plunder or bloodshed,
We have leaders who knows the scales of equality
Our children are not murdered or disrespected,
Because we know the value of humanity,

See if one among us is fighting for any land,
Each one has equal quantity to sow and reap,
We provide our people from our motherland,
Fruits and fauna and trees of high leap,

Why do we fight over a created story or belief?
Rule us or bow down to hand crafted beings
Bear the tears of neighbours, where's the relief?
Plumber our lands to create profits and wrongdoings.

Crimes are corrected by our elders in stages,
Accused are sent back to school under rehabilitation
Made to work, learn many lessons of morality guages,
Then rewarded with a certificate of appreciation

We have leaders who have proved their capability
Learned under our elders, written their experiences
To run schools and colleges, even a muncipality,
We do not have walls to guard us or even fences.

Our Brethren of ancient origins, from foreign lands,
They loved our motherland, developed gracefully,
We are thankful to all departed to grains of sand,
They have shaped our motherland, giving a rich history.

Let's join together tomorrow to remember our journey,
It's one of a kind love, respect each and every being,
It's today we appreciate what we have is earned to see,
We will continue our work together, learn by doing."

Brian and Graham, watched in anticipation,
Asked the leader for the poem, to learn its meaning,
A few days later, they were in participation,
Soon, they were part of Neverling Island, living.
