Relaxing You

Relaxing You

When I close my eyes I see you
There in my dreams you are
Precious as a lotus
As delicate as a rose
As fragrant as jasmine
So lovely and beautiful
Reverence
Respect
And pure revelry
Rise up in me
For who you are alive
Breathing
Gently in my arms.

You are distant as a shiny star
But feel as close to me
And soothing as
A warm hug
A soft, cool bath
The inhale and exhale
Every breath I take
Returning
Again and again
To my thoughts and
Feelings so real
The air feels better
In and all around me.

Is it any wonder beauty is you
Cherished and treasured
Seemingly all day long
Wherever I go
Whatever I do
You are a constant
A luminous light
A welcome touch
That you begin my days
And end my nights
In pure amorous fashion
I completely unwind at home
With you where my heart is.
