All the important ones

Cynthia novotny 1984 (Wilmington de)

If we didn’t have residents or patients
We wouldn’t have a job like we do now
There would be no one to give baths
Or someone to comfort them if needed

if everyone didn’t need any care anymore
There would be no one to give meds out
Or make sure they were comfy and safe
Our jobs of what we do are all important

the places that our residents live or visit
We have the hospital that cares for the sick
We have help at the long term care units
if we all work together and be as one

I know what we all do in the healthcare field
It sure isn’t easy some days for a lot of people
We must do what’s right for our senior citizens
we need to be there the best way we can be

So if u have a job in the healthcare field today
Whether it be the hospital or nursing homes
we need to be good to our lovely residents
They deserve to be treated just like family

When I mean treated like family I mean
When we are doing personal care on them
Make sure we  tell them what we’re doing
so if this is your job I praise you on what you do

About this poem

about how the hospitals and nursing homes or where our residents reside. I also feel we play an important role in each others lives. Try to always treat your residents like family
