We All Once Enjoyed It

We all once enjoyed it.
Those times we spent together reminisced.
Without comparing our accomplishments.
And that to begin to do,
By a few who assumed themselves to be...
Born with silver spoons in their mouths.
Exclusively.

To then show disrespect and a disregard,
For contributions made...
Brought to one table and shared.
Says a lot about those,
Who are suppose to be family folks.
Yet taught and learn to accept and believe,
That money and things to possess...
Reflects success to have it shown to address.
Is more effective than love or happiness.
Or being the best human being,
One can possibly be to make this known.

However,
We are living in times too many find...
It is better to live imitating to impress,
Somebody else by pretending to be...
What is thought more approved,
If the doing is tastefully dishonest.
Humorous and faked.

Yet...
What had been enjoyed,
At a time to disregard as entertainment.
Has become normalized as a way of life.
To corrupt, fraud, deceive and demean,
A reality and the truth of it...
Found offensive by many,
Defending to protect their right to stay...
Committed to delude, fiction and lie to deny,
Today, for them, is most enjoyed!

There is nothing positive..
About your assessments expressed.'

Your lieing eyes to see...
What mine observe as reality.
Although I will admit,
The glasses I wear are a new prescription.'
