The Final Choice

No matter what your friends might say
About the things you do,
You must begin to see that they
Can't live your life for you.

To stand apart from them must be
A choice you make alone
Or else if you should disagree,
Your thoughts may not be known.

At first it will be hard to show
Your friends you still belong
With them and also let them know
You'll say if they are wrong;

But you will learn and so will they
That each of us must make
Decisions on our own each day
And learn from each mistake!
