His last hope in himself ran out

This is a long one folks but it's a story.

A man Balled up his fist today in anger. His name was Tom. Even he did not know what it meant but he caught himself and became disgusted with himself.
He once had a wife and kids but lost them in a terrible car accident. Him and his family were hit head on by a drunk driver. What was odd Tom had been drinking himself. With his injuries no one checked him for intoxication they only checked the other guy. He survived but his family did not. As time went on even though he stopped drinking he carried the burden of wondering if he had even a small amount of fault in what happened. Eye witnesses said they saw the other guy all over the road as he hit parked cars before he struck Tom's car with his family in it. The witnesses said they did not see Tom driving in anyway questionable. Even so that he felt he didn't have anything to do with it he was raged at himself for the possibility that at some point and time if he didn't stop drinking he could've plowed into someone causing them the fate that had been dealt him. Now back to his clinched fist. He took this as a last resort. He asked himself how can I go on like this. Tom never really thought about accepting Jesus as his Lord and
Savior. He got down on his knees and started speaking to God. Asking for direction with his life and stating he's at the end of his rope. Suddenly a bright light came from the ceiling of his room and a voice spoke out. He heard his name. Tom U don't have to suffer anymore. Give your burden to me and let my love enter your heart and start living your life again. I have your wife and kids and they are more than just fine. One day you will be reunited with them but for now I need for you to learn about my only begotten Son Jesus that died on the cross for all your sins. Read and study the Bible and you will find the way and reasons behind all the joys in life for those that keep me in their life. The sunrises and moon sets are for all my children so spread the word and live in peace. Tom became a leading member of his church and he found love again in a woman named Tammy that had a couple of young kids and they all grew to love each other very much. God is there for all of us in his time and in his fashion. Let him answer you when he is ready it will happen I promise.
