My Unborn Child

My Unborn Child

Sits inside on his or her mother’s wound.

Taking on human form being shaped into a baby boy or girl as it grows from a mere fetus over the period of nine months.

My unborn child brings me much joy and happiness and yet at the same time brings me a feeling of worry.

Because I know what lies ahead for me as a soon to be father.

One who knows that play time is over now.

For I now have a life to support.

Taking on a lifelong challenge trying to give my daughter or son more than I had as a child.

After being raised by a widowed mother.

I pray for long life so that I will be blessed by the Lord to be around to see my child grow up and succeed at getting educated and make me a proud parent.

My unborn child sits inside of his or her mother stomach not knowing what awaits here on earth outside of the stomach which he or she eats sleeps and grows in.

As I await and prepare for my child to be born health and strong receiving many blessings from our Lord the creator of all things that have come to be in this world.
