FIND ME

Sherry O’Connor 1971 (United States)

“FIND ME”

Find the girl who always makes people laugh.

Find the girl who loves to look up at the stars,
wishing so hard.

Find the girl who loves nature so much
that it captivates her.

Find the girl who loves the ocean
and watches the water's motion.

Find the girl whose soul is so bright,
She's the light in the darkness of night.

Find the girl who runs with the wind as it blows through her hair.
Find the girl who shows she cares.

Find the girl who is as free
as the eagle flying high in the sky.

Find her - she’s lost her purpose
(He says so proudly) You were never lost…

I see you down there struggling just to be...
I hear you when your wishes are spoken
With your love of nature and soul so bright,

I am the waters motion, the wind in your hair,
The eagle flying high, the stars at night.

You were never lost...It was Me...Find Me
(God) Find Me
