For the joy is near

Richard J Edwards 1960 (Ft Belvoir)

As the music plays the sun goes down into its slumber and a gentle peace flows over the land. The sky excitedly says yes to the approaching Heaven and the visual display penetrates our soul and there is a rejoicing. When the time is right the proof will saturate our bodies mind and soul that salvation is near. Give the best of you to the Lord of all mankind and only the things that are needed in our after life will we care to take. The pain and turmoil of a life gone by will we have no memory of and the elation inside of you will create a force that wisks us away far above the clouds to another dimension that only passing through Gods embrace will we be allowed entry to his kingdom. Upon this time evil has been defeated and everlasting joy will not be contained in a thought for it will be coursing through our veins.
