The Boy Scouts say to be prepared
In all you plan to do.
When I was one, they often shared
Advice that was so true!

To be prepared does not mean wait
Until you see the need,
Because for those who hesitate,
They probably won't succeed.

So, when the flood is headed for
Your home, know what to do.
Those swimming lessons won't be more
Than wishing dreams come true.
