Testimony

William brooks 1959 (Salem)

I want to thank you Lord for things you've given. And given me breath to keep on living. The years that I have yes a gift from you. Surely weren't earned and you know that too. Yes I am such a sinner and that I must say. But praying to my Lord each and every day I must avoid sin no matter what the cost. For sinful nature means eternal loss. So I must give the Father the things He want . and stop putting on this artificial front. For I know He loves me if I just do right keep moving on and not give up the fight. That is my testimony I give for the day. I am in need so please will you pray. That my heart will change and overcome sin
It's tearing me up and eating me within.

About this poem

This is how things were going for me in 2006. Even though things weren't going so well I have to testify and give a testimony the day of my birthday.
