Big Toe of Ontario

Come on down to the Big Toe of Ontario,
A peninsula west of Toronto.
Where waters run and freely flow,
This is the place to dream and grow.
From the hills on high to valleys low,
With the beauty of nature in full display.

In the summer, when the sun shines bright,
Warming the sandy beaches on the coasts.
Kids play and build castles in the sand below,
As seagulls soar overhead, gliding gracefully.
Waves ripple against the shore, a sound of pure joy,
And laughter fills the air, happiness is its hue.

As Fall arrives, leaves turn yellow, red, and orange,
Painting the landscape with colors bold and true.
The forests come alive, a vibrant kaleidoscope,
A feast for the eyes, a remarkable view to behold.
Hiking trails beckon, leading to hidden treasures,
Its a paradise for adventurers, their spirits never low.

Winter brings a blanket of snow, a winter wonderland,
Covering everything in a pristine white brilliance.
Ice skaters twirl on frozen lakes, their movements dazzling,
While snowboarders carve paths on snowy slopes.
The Big Toe of Ontario, a playground for winter enthusiasts,
A place Where snowflakes dance and icy winds blow.

Springtime brings renewal, a rebirth of nature's beauty,
Flowers bloom, painting the landscape with their vibrant hues.
Birds return, filling the air with melodies sweet,
As the Big Toe of Ontario awakens from its slumber.
The cycle of life continues, a never-ending show,
A place where dreams are born, and nature's wonders grow.

The Big Toe of Ontario, beckons the hardy to play,
From Erie on up to Huron's southerly bay,
Teeming with fish, wildlife, and game they say,
It's a hunter’s paradise, all sportsmen hold sway.
Boats, rods, bows, guns and more, everyone set to go,
Hunting or fishing, as the seasons allow.

Be sure to pay a visit to the Big Toe,
It's the most fantastic place to go,
Make the trip to the south-west,
Counties of Chatham-Kent, Lambton, Essex,
To the heart of Ontario west of Toronto.
