Strange is the new norm

Strange is the new norm,
A world we once knew has transformed,
Change is the only constant,
And the unexpected is omnipresent.

Where once we sought the familiar,
Now we embrace the peculiar,
Differences are celebrated,
And uniqueness is exalted.

We no longer conform to the ordinary,
Instead, we paint our lives with diversity,
Breaking barriers and stereotypes,
Making our own path, forging our own types.

Yes, strange is the new norm,
And we embrace it with open arms,
For in this world of diversity and change,
We find beauty and meaning in the strange.

About this poem

Strange is the new norm is a poem that celebrates diversity in humanity as it lays more emphasis on acceptance and embracing the things we do not understand and the fact that it is new doesn’t mean it’s wrong or not good therefore persuading us to be able to cope with changes and adapt to new systems and culture. this means a lot more than that too, this poem is also a reflection of what is happening in our modern day society. A large world of diversity where people are coming up with different forms, identity and culture this poem tells us about how we’d not be too quick to judge others for their choice of existence but rather understand and embrace them, if at all we feel they’re not like us doesn’t mean we’d condescend them for love is the only thing that’s bring us close to that exact kind of equality we’ve all been yearning for.
