SOILED

She walks as if every strength in her is spent,
When she visits the camp that soldiers dwell,
To remember many hands that violates her,
Is to die:
At dusk she strolls, and hopes with a longing for
Crumbs from the master's table that feeds her siblings;
Spoils, happy and praying for another day, that
Combatants will cast a piece to their dogs: but now
She is the piece of bread, ravages; hands plunges,
Into deep ravine, ravishes beauty of a virgin land,
They sense that its water is sweet,
New vine pollutes like spotless diamonds
From cradle to green meadows to dark huts;
On right side of moral virtue, a damsel strays,
With her enchanted beauty;
Where villains walks like vampires,
Here, blending of bravery and fear,
When infants are abused for cure of a virus,
Lost in claws of demons, crush on anvil,
Her dreams haunt her like a game,
Half dead, she remains a piece of bread
To satisfy soldier's incontinence, acts of genocide
Under sunny desert, the deal closes,
Roasts under Darfur's sun: the prize of war and oil?
