Lost

In a crowd yet all alone I stand,
Voices blend like waves on distant shores.
Faces swirl like leaves in tempest's hand,
Solitude within my heart it pours.

Laughter peals like bells on vibrant air,
Yet a bubble holds me, far apart.
Eyes that meet don't truly seem to care,
Isolation tugs at my restless heart.

Amidst the noise, an inner solitaire,
Thoughts and feelings dance their private waltz.
In this sea of souls, I'm unaware,
A silent symphony within me exalts.

Paradox blooms as the crowd extends,
Solitude's embrace within me grows.
Amidst the masses, this feeling rends,
A tapestry of emotions it bestows.
