Life

Life is sometimes an ambiguous concept.
Water flows upstream,
A faint line between staying and leaving,
And sometimes a thin strand between love and hatred.

Life is in the eyes of a vulnerable deer,
a harbinger of the ruthless hunter's downfall.
Life is in the eyes of a hungry child,
A piece of bread beside a set table

Life is in the eyes of a trapped sparrow.
A moment of freedom, flight, and departure
Life is in the eyes of a legless man,
The path of walking, walking, walking

Life is for the sake of a closed bud.
The beautiful sensation of blossoming
Life is for the sake of a withered garden,
Rainfall on its hot sands.

Life is in the eyes of a lover,
A moment of meeting with the beloved's eyes
Life is in the eyes of a wounded lover,
Endless dreams, only empty of that ugly nightmare.

Life is in the eyes of a lost traveler.
A lantern's light in a dark well

Life is the familiarity of a good feeling.
Life is a journey to an end and separation.

Life is the feeling of dying in an instant.
Life is blooming with each tick of the hour.

Life is the denial of all given things.
Life is regret for the things not given.

Life is the birth of a human being.
Life is dying and the end

For a few years in the midst of life,
We play a game.
Drowning in the text, depth, and surface of life
We used to cry, but in the separation of life,
Each of us passes through life in our own way.

Blessed are those who, for two days of life,
Lay the foundation of this world on the bricks of love.

Mina Nazari

From a young age, I've found solace in the art of poetry. Expressing my emotions has always felt most natural through the rhythmic flow of verses. When the tide of emotions intertwines with the muse of poetry, I instinctively reach for my pen, translating feelings into words that dance upon the page. more…
