FRIENDS
Nichol Robnett 1972 (Connecticut)
They calm all of the worry,
and fears you've left untold.......
By speaking words of hope and courage, to your very soul.....
And guarding me from things in life, that I had yet to know....
I dreamed of who would watch over me,
Protect me from this world.....
The image my mind created,
this angel I observed....
Picturing you with a symbolic halo,
And feathered wings like on a bird.....
Though dreams are not reality,
and when reality did set in....
That angel that I envisioned,
was not at all the angel,
to me that God had sent....
He surrounded us with many,
Not knowing that my angel,
Was regarded by God as what we call "friend"...
There's treasure inside true friendship,
A bond some have thats rare...
Did you ever take into account,
every time u ever needed them
They never judged or questioned you, they simply said....."of course", "I'll be right there".....
Friends to me are truly,
one of Gods most precious gifts....
Placed in our lives with a purpose,
We may never have guessed....
I believe friends to be angels,
walking in our midst.......
Until God calls them to Heaven,
and for us they forever will be missed.....
