Desire

Within every human heart
There beats a common desire...
The urgency of loving
And so the need to be loved.

Loved not for our outward beauty or elegance,
Nor for our intelligence, achievements, or material gains...
But rather for who we are
When no one else is around.

You know me.
You've seen me at my weakest point.
Still-here you are.
