DARSONE

Kiyana 1990 (San Francisco)

Trapped in a world of pain and resentment
Empty souls drowning in despair and dependence.
Shattered dreams left behind in this place  so stagnant
Believing I was more than a fragment
Of the heart that you promised would always be mine, and t he other half of my soul and insides.
Broken hearts left to wither in a state of decay
Scarred and forgotten left in ruins is just a regular day.
Followed faith for the last time, only for you to rob my heart blind
While I spent my happiest times day dreaming about you always being mine.
Followed hope for the last time just so you could rob my heart blind
Drowning in every regret wishing to rewind
Shattered heart driving madness fast forward to die
and to kill every dream clinging to loves design.
Uphill climb every time I needed your hand, but everyone else came first-
you just just couldn’t understand
Always unseen , tossed away and a bland last resort.
A distraction when everyone else  was bored.

My heart was in pieces and chains meeting you when
u convinced me that that miracles could
 come true
Promised forever
And promised the truth
just to kick me aside like a stranger you never new.
I can’t sleep since you’re gone and I feel my face turning blue .
…Since you left, everything  I thought I knew was taken away.
Proving to me all I am’s a waste of dna.
