Sonnet
My heart is heavy
it's drawing me down
in this  bottomless pit filled
with tears from my sleepless nights
the language of peace is a foreign one
that i might never understand
in these dark days hope is just a word
i lose my self as i disappear into the darkness of this world.

About this poem

this poem is about the darkest time of my life when i wanted to talk to about my sexuality but couldn't cause i was afraid of the judgement that would come afterwards, so i bottled up my feelings into this
