A Mothers Pain

A mothers  pain that grew to hard to bare
As her tears fell like rain
While she stood standing there
Watching her poor son die
Crying out for help with all her might
Asking the good lord why
Why me lord she seamed to say
As she stood alone in the dark
Wet and cold a dog began to bark
Why take my son from me
He did nothing wrong
I have nothing left ,  my  soul i freely give
If my son can have just one more chance
If my son can only live
Take me lord , don't let this be
As my pain is to hard to bare
