I Feel That I Would Like to Die

Michael Drewes 1944 (Herzhausen)

I feel that I would like to die,
and not like eating apple pie!
No internet, no video games,
no litigations and no shames,
no people's angry, nervous chatter,
no furniture and no more clutter!

No cars and no possessions,
no jewels and obsessions,
no gold, no silver, and no coins,
no tensions in my loins,
no sports, no football team,
no waste of self-esteem,
no radio and no screen,
and after my demise,
please, no paradise!
