His Plan

Slipping back while moving forward is all apart of life
The beauty is how we fair when we start to slide
Some of us are strong and can take the strain
While others whom are weak it takes just a nudge to cave
In these times of trouble we take a stand, and kneel
Its then and only then we have a power we can feel
It doesn't just abandon us when times increasingly get harder
It tells us we can make it that we don't have much further
With his gentle hands reaching in past all of the pain
Whats unsettled finds a peace that cannot be explained
As I journey on to find hope can be restored
One thing comes to mind that never did before
The journey keeps on teaching us so that we may grow
The destination is what we don't see but in faith we come to know
Having trust while in his arms is when he lends a hand
Maturing while moving on was always in his plan
No matter how off track we get we are never all alone
He'll always have you in his grasp to one day lead you home
