Tired

Tired of dealing with the same thing on a different day
Tired of saying this and that but never finding another way
I'm tired of asking myself why you treat me like you do
Really tired of my inability to put my trust in you.
Tired of hearing I'm your number one but getting ignored when I call
Tired of wondering if your gonna straighten up your life at all
In all the ways I'm tired, I'm tired of the rejection
The constant back and forth not understanding God's perception.
I'm here because I did what i did and there isn't any taking it back
Now my consequences help me get my mind back on track
Tired of stressing if I'll see you at that gate
Never dwelling on this time rather using it to think
Pieces of this puzzle start to slowly fall in place
Gods given me a purpose and the choice to accept this change
As this passion in me fires up I'm no longer all alone
For I've left behind the worries of tomorrow that took hold
Breathing out and breathing in I take my time to pray
Thanking God graciously for taking the tiredness away.
