Storm Coming

Storm Coming

In the light of brightest day
There is a storm coming
A swelling surge to succeed
The force of audacious hope
Courage advancing
Into an undiscovered country
I am embracing
My time right now
And I aim not to miss.

As the striker on a pitch
I run with fiery rage
My hair on fire
Bent on scoring a goal
These feet are intent
To keep moving
Taking shape to shoot
I ready to make my mark
Boldly for good fortune.

There is a storm coming
It’s mine and mine alone
To seize the day
Sweat is necessary
To achieve victory
To get what I deserve
For dreams are destiny
Waiting to awaken
With thunder and lightning!
