Dreamy velocity

A pure bliss.
With the beach waves flap over each other.
Spreading fast but not too far. Just enough to reach the tip of your toes.
The sight of hundreds of lilacs surrounding you. All of them make a beautiful spotted painting. With the clean, calming aroma in the air.
A stream, in a major forest. At night, fireflies fly around and act like teensy lamps. Trees rustle when the wind comes and goes. Away from home, or perhaps, at home.
In a wooden cabin, rain falls outside. Thumping at a rapid pace. Hitting the floor like thousands of rocks. With a warm cup of tea in your hands, in a cloud space, you watch the sky cry.

It's not real.
It's a fantasy.
Wake up.
You are in class. Dumbest person in the room. You will never achieve greatness. You will end up not even going to college.
Wake up
You are so mentally ill, and you can't be fixed.
Wake up
You can never escape your situation, not even the pleasure of your own mind can let you escape for just a second.
Wake up.

About this poem

This poem is one of my favorite's but at the same time my worst. It's about escapism. How I would go to my own fantasy world inside my head and pretend everything is okay when I'm at school. However, when I get home, I wake up. I wake up to the harsh reality I live in.
